# Roadmap

### Beyond

Categories widen into every domain markets trade, and the judgment history thickens year after year.

### 2026

#### H1

* [x] **Multi-agent intelligence pipeline live.** Brought the six-stage pipeline into production, with trained cluster, content, and analysis agents reading and judging articles.
* [x] **Four categories live.** Began real-time publishing across crypto, economy, politics, and geopolitics.
* [x] **16-language simultaneous publishing.** Built the translation pipeline and began distributing every story in 16 languages at once.
* [x] **Event clustering system.** Converged cross-outlet reporting of the same event into one event and computed related-coverage counts.
* [x] **Event Memory.** Accumulated judgment history, event timelines, per-outlet coverage records, and first-report credits so that the same event receives the same scale.
* [x] **Publishing gate.** Activated the quality gate that blocks promotion, press releases, and off-domain noise at classification.
* [x] **Source coverage expansion.** Expanded to 51 sources including 7 primary institutional sources, receiving issuers' own documents directly.
* [x] **NewsCover Library.** 3,000 entities and 10,000 covers spanning crypto, equities, nations, currencies, commodities, institutions, brands, and people.
* [x] **Cover grid system.** Standardized person, symbol, wordmark, and object layouts, and established the licensing verification process.

#### H2

* [x] **Terminal launch.** A console for exploring the layer by contract name and asset name, showing exactly what the API returns.
* [x] **Newsroom launch.** A desk that takes a KOL from picking top news to publishing on social in two clicks.
* [x] **News Feed API release.** A real-time stream with category, impact, and language filters and cursor-based incremental fetching.
* [x] **Top News API release.** A ranking of the top 10 per category, recomputed hourly and returned in the same order in every language.
* [x] **Match API release.** A matching engine that attaches relevant news to any page in two modes: sentence (contract questions) and keyword (assets and entities).
* [x] **NewsCover API release.** A cover matching API returning publication-grade covers from a headline or keywords.
* [x] **RSS feed release.** Standard per-category feeds, open without a key.
* [x] **Skills release.** Natural-language access for AI agents, running on the same API.
* [ ] **Sports category** (or H1 2027)**.** Opening the fifth category and extending the event-type system for sports.
* [ ] **MCP server with x402 payment** (or H1 2027). No-auth agent access and per-call payment.
* [ ] **$FL launch** (or H1 2027). Token generation and the payment rail going live.

### 2025

#### H2

* [x] **Market research and opportunity definition.** Studied embedded-news demand across prediction markets, exchanges, and data providers, confirmed the shift of news consumption from sites into in-screen layers, and set the product direction.
* [x] **News source evaluation.** Compared global outlets and primary institutional sources on ingest feasibility, publishing latency, and licensing terms, and established source selection criteria.
* [x] **Licensing structure design.** Defined the license-free position: fact-based synthesis and rewriting, no storage of original articles, and credit to the outlet that broke the story.
* [x] **Multi-agent architecture design.** Designed the six-stage pipeline (Read, Classify, Cluster, Synthesize, Intelligence, Rank) and selected the technology stack.
* [x] **Signal system design.** Defined the impact scale, the five sentiment values, the eventType classification, and the three-layer entities join key, together with their judgment rules.
* [x] **Neutrality architecture.** Designed the track split that removes sentiment generation entirely from the non-market track, and defined the promotion-blocking gate.
* [x] **Coverage design.** Fixed the four categories, set the selection criteria for primary institutional sources and major outlets, and planned the 16-language rollout.
* [x] **Prototype build and quality verification framework.** Measured judgment quality on a pipeline prototype and designed the golden-set verification process.
* [x] **Brand and design system.** Established the FLASH brand, built the product design system, and designed the official website.

To become the standard embedded news layer, and the standard news infrastructure agents call. That is where the roadmap ends.
